Fair Work Compliance

All employees need to be given a pay slip for every pay day. Do you know what should be on them? It’s not just the dollar amount they’re being paid. Some of the things that need to be included are: • before and after tax pay amounts • if being paid hourly, the ordinary hourly rate, the number of hours worked at that rate and the total dollar amount of pay at that rate • any loadings, allowances, bonuses, incentive-based payments, penalty rates or other paid entitlements • any deductions • superannuation contributions.
